Senior Informatica Developer - San Diego, CA
The Senior Informatica Developer will provide a full spectrum of support services from strategy development to hands-on mapping development. The client is supporting the implementation of a new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system named Blackbaud. As part of the Blackbaud rollout, a related Business Intelligence capability will be developed including an Operational Data Store and Data Warehouse. The primary objectives are to successfully implement External Affairs (EA) data management requirements, Informatica based ETL capabilities and to enable ACT to identify and execute Informatica best practices within the overall rollout guidelines. These guidelines include a best practices data management strategy, self-service BI model, data governance, appropriate utilization of ETL tools, support for an Informatica community of practice and optimized data integration processes. More specific duties include:
Review EA data model and ensure complete understanding.
Review EA ETL requirements and ensure all related documentation is in place and approved.
Liaise with internal staff for Informatica strategy and implementation.
Develop Informatica implementation plan for EA subject areas.
Engage EA customers in defining and remediating outstanding data management gap analysis.
Verify Informatica architecture and ensure capability in place to support EA rollout.
Develop, test, implement and document Informatica data mappings.
Put Informatica processes into production.
Ensure supportability of developed Informatica processes by permanent staff.
Assist in development of overarching Informatica rollout strategy.
Assist in development of Informatica concept of operations.
Assist in development of standard operating procedure.
Assist in development of Informatica training materials.
Assist in development of Informatica development standards.
Assist in implementation of Informatica change management process.
