Position: Contract
Rate: $50-55
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 11 months with the possibility of renewable

We are looking for qualified candidates to fill a position as a AIX Administrator .
Interview Mode: Normally Phone first then possibly a Face to Face

Description Of Services:
Worker will work on the design, configuration and optimization of existing and new enterprise AIX/Power infrastructure and systems.
Worker Skills And Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge/experience with installation, administration, tuning, performance and maintenance of enterprise AIX/Power architecture, infrastructure and systems including LPARs, NIM, PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, LVM, LPM, MPIO, VLAN, SVC, security and related enterprise-grade technology knowledge necessary for highly available, redundant systems. Strong working-knowledge of IBM enterprise storage technologies including SAN Volume Controllers and DS-series disk systems is necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
8 years Installation/administration of AIX in an enterprise environment
5 years Installation/administration of IBM enterprise storage (SVC, DS8xxx)
Certification or Equivalent:
· IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert –
· AIX and/or Certified Systems Expert
· AIX (or clearly demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge)
Preferences:
5 years Cisco SAN fabric knowledge
